Designed specifically for geoscientists, community relations workers, consultants and early-stage regulators working in mineral exploration, this course aims to help professionals develop the necessary skills and knowledge to build strong relationships with communities in the context of resource exploration.
The course is entirely online, allowing you to complete the modules at your own pace. In addition, five live webinar sessions will be scheduled to accommodate participants’ availability based on their location.
Registration is now open for the course, and you can find out more and sign up by following this link: https://study.uq.edu.au/short-courses/community-relations-exploration. If you have any questions about the course, please do not hesitate to contact the program leader, Sarah Mackenzie (s.mackenzie@uq.edu.au). This course is organised by the University of Queensland
This course is primarily aimed at geologists who have recently been appointed as an Exploration Manager or anyone who aspires to become one within the next few years. It will also serve as a useful introduction to the mineral exploration business for any non-technical professionals who track the activities of mineral explorers in the market, or others in the industry.
This 5-day training course will introduce cutting-edge approaches to mineralising systems using modern “Systems Thinking” and exploration science.
